Plain-English summary AI Bridge stores consultation history locally in the browser, sends user-entered consultation data to https://ai-bridge-proxy.helpfulextensions.workers.dev/ to generate questions and reports, and does not collect browsing history or page content from websites you visit.

1. What AI Bridge Does

AI Bridge is a business AI-readiness consultation extension. It guides the user through a structured discovery process and generates a vendor-neutral diagnosis report, opportunity map, ROI projections, implementation roadmap, and risk assessment based on the information the user provides.

The extension is designed for consultation and planning. It does not monitor general web browsing activity and it does not inject content into websites as part of its core service.

2. Information We Process

AI Bridge may process the following information when a user interacts with the extension:

  • Business consultation inputs entered by the user, such as business descriptions, goals, workflows, operational pain points, industry, role, company size, timelines, and answers to follow-up questions.
  • Additional free-form context voluntarily provided by the user during the consultation.
  • Generated outputs, such as adaptive questions, summaries, diagnosis reports, opportunity maps, ROI projections, implementation roadmaps, implementation specifications, and risk assessments.
  • Local extension data needed to provide the service, such as current session state, saved draft inputs, and consultation history stored on the user's device.

Because the extension accepts free-form text, submitted content may include personal or business information if the user chooses to include it, such as names, email addresses, company identifiers, budgets, revenue ranges, operational details, or customer-related notes.

Stored locally in the browser Consultation inputs, saved drafts, current session state, report history, and generated report content are stored using chrome.storage.local.
Sent to the fixed backend User-entered consultation data is sent to https://ai-bridge-proxy.helpfulextensions.workers.dev/ to request AI-generated questions and reports.

3. Information We Do Not Collect From Browsing

AI Bridge does not intentionally collect, monitor, or store the following categories of data from normal browsing activity:

  • Browsing history
  • Website content from pages the user visits
  • Keystrokes outside the extension interface
  • Location data
  • Passwords or authentication credentials

The extension's manifest does not request permissions for browsing history, tabs, cookies, or page content access. Its locked host permission is used only to communicate with the fixed AI Bridge backend.

4. How Information Is Used

We use information solely to operate AI Bridge and provide the consultation requested by the user, including to:

  • Generate adaptive consultation questions and structured business AI-readiness reports.
  • Preserve session continuity when the popup closes or the user returns later.
  • Allow users to review prior reports and consultation history saved locally in the extension.
  • Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use consultation data for advertising. We do not use the extension to build browsing profiles or track activity across unrelated websites.

5. Where Information Is Stored

AI Bridge stores current session data, saved drafts, generated reports, and report history locally on the user's device using Chrome extension storage.

When the user requests AI-generated questions or reports, the extension sends the user-entered consultation data to the fixed backend endpoint at https://ai-bridge-proxy.helpfulextensions.workers.dev/.

That backend uses infrastructure and AI processing providers needed to deliver the service, including Cloudflare for hosting and request handling, and Google Gemini for model inference and current-information grounding. Generated outputs may reflect current public web information surfaced through the AI provider's search or grounding capabilities.

We do not intentionally maintain a user-facing server-side database of saved consultation content for later retrieval by users. However, service providers may temporarily process or log request data as needed for security, abuse prevention, reliability, legal compliance, and service delivery.

6. Sharing of Information

We share user-provided consultation data only with service providers that are necessary to operate AI Bridge, such as:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts and serves the fixed backend endpoint.
  • Google, through the Gemini API used to generate consultation questions and reports.

We do not sell, rent, or broker user data to third parties. We do not share user data for advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

Data stored locally in the extension remains on the user's device until the user resets the extension, clears extension storage, removes the extension, or otherwise deletes browser data containing the extension's local storage.

We do not intentionally keep a persistent server-side history of consultation content for user accounts. Temporary retention by service providers may occur as part of normal request processing, security monitoring, or infrastructure operations.

8. User Choices

Users control what they enter into AI Bridge and how long local consultation history remains on their device.

  • Users can avoid entering sensitive information that is not necessary for their consultation.
  • Users can clear locally stored extension data by resetting the consultation or removing extension storage.
  • Users can uninstall the extension at any time.

Users should avoid submitting passwords, government identifiers, or highly sensitive personal information unless absolutely necessary for their own use case.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information and limit exposure, including the use of a fixed backend endpoint rather than arbitrary remote destinations from the extension.

However, no method of electronic transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

AI Bridge is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly design the service to collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the product, infrastructure, legal requirements, or privacy practices. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and publish the revised version at the same URL.
